On this film Zanele Muholi shares how she started into photography. We hear how it is now an instrument of healing and self valuation for her, as she deals with the different ideas behind her images. We take you through a short, looking at her works as they hang at the Stevenson Gallery in Braamfonein. This short film is accompanied by a very sombre, calm and emotive piano piece by Ethiopian musician Tsegue-Maryam Guebrou titled Homesick.
